GIVING AT CHURCH
We encourage all of those who are part of our Church family to give—not out of obligation but out of a spirit of worship. Your gifts allow us to continue the mission of Christ in our community and in the world around us.
We also encourage followers of Jesus to listen and obey the Holy Spirit when it comes to generously giving offerings. An offering is that which is freely given to the work of the local church and missions.
Offerings are far more than simply monetary resources. Romans 12:1 instructs us to offer our bodies “as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God” as part of our worship.
The truth is, God doesn’t need our money. What He wants and what He values from us is a heart that overflows with gratitude and thanksgiving to the God who saved us and who gives us all things, knowing our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8).
Such a heart gives generously, willingly, and cheerfully in response to the love and grace that abounds in Christ.
You giving allows us to continue to serve and support missions in our community that look like this…
Support Life Changing Local Ministries
Such as the Four Rivers Outreach program pictured above. This local ministry is a faith-based organization providing programs for men and women who have life-controlling issues including substance abuse and homelessness and each month a portion of your contribution helps support them, so they can continue to help change lives here in our very own back yard.
Daily Ministry on Our Campus
Our campus is a very busy place, from Sunday Worship to the extravagant Young at Heart events, we normally always have something going on. What a blessing this is! God uses our everyday ministries to build relationships, teach the word and apply it for life change. God works on this campus daily, if not hourly. We experience God bringing families to our campus onto our campus for an walk off a believer. As seen in this picture above as two of our adult members pray with a young man as he accepts Jesus as his Lord and Savior! AMEN!
